Nisyros: Eleven complaints of sexual indecency against the archeologist

All complaints relate to incidents of sexual indecency that occurred in the last four years

Eleven complaints have been filed with the Kos prosecutor for sexual harassment or abuse of children aged 10 to 15 against the antiquities guard in Nisyros, since Saturday night.

According to ERT, the parents of six children from Nisyros have already submitted complaints and given statements, while five more complaints are in progress. The children also proceed to testify after being examined by a psychologist at the Rhodes Hospital.

It should be noted that the case became public after a complaint by the father of a ten-year-old child, a refugee resident of the island, who was in danger of being deported due to a lack of documents, while the parents of the students who also protested outside the Nisyros Police Station, as they stated at ERT N. Aegean, they seem determined to fight for justice to be served.

After the complaints, the alleged perpetrator, who also served as a factor in the children’s football team of “Polyvotis”, has been suspended from his duties, while an order was given to carry out an administrative investigation against him.
