It was 1991 when the Skra Ghetto Boys they were stepping on the Aretsou graffiti in his space 5th and 13th primary schools of Kalamariaone of the oldest preserved intact and intact in Thessaloniki.

Thirty-three years later, in the neighborhood where he was born, grew up and went to school and on the eve of his 50th birthday, the Dimitris Bayraktaridisone of the country’s first graffiti artists, known by the pseudonym Jasone and a member of SGB, took the initiative to bring back the old school art of paint to the area where it flourished in the 80s and 90s.

For two days, throughout the weekend, the walls of the school were transformed into a vast canvas, with the spray balls catching fire and the… cream of the crop of writers beautifying the space with colors and styles.

“The thought came spontaneously, imagine many of my acquaintances I took them to their stationary to come here and paint” said Jason at Voria.gr, at the time he was painting the wall. A few meters away is his son, who was introduced to the art of graffiti and created a part of the school painting with his father and his friends.

The facade of the complex is decorated with a portrait of Harry Clynn, which will gradually be framed with the names of the members of the Skra Ghetto Boys, who developed graffiti in Greece.

This different celebration will continue in the following weekends until all the areas of the school are uniformly covered, while graffiti artists from different regions will also participate in the action.
