A 15-year-old from Albania was arrested yesterday in Oropos, who injured his peer with a knife.
The incident took place shortly after 7 pm in a stadium within it EPAL Oropouwhere after an argument the 15-year-old attacked the other minor with a folding knife, injuring the left arm.
At the time of the incident, an off-duty police officer was passing by the scene, who provided first aid to the 15-year-old, then called an EKAB ambulance and informed the local Police Department.
The victim was taken by ambulance to the “Aglaia Kyriakou” Children’s Hospital, where he is being treated out of danger.
According to information, the fight between the minors took place over a jacket. As stated in an announcement by ELAS, the police arrested the 15-year-old perpetrator while his parents were also arrested for neglecting to supervise a minor.
