Obstacles and difficulties in personal and social areas were the subject of discussion at the annual event of the TEDxUniversity of CRETE team at Vouton Campus.

Speakers approached the topic of “walls” even from within and from personal experiences, with the event attracting great interest from students and beyond, as a wide range of topics were covered, from technology, psychology to science and art.

The reason for the TEDxUniversity of Crete team, which organized for the 5th year in a row the annual event with the theme “MOENIA” which means “walls”.

Even through personal experiences, speakers challenged and sent their own messages, such as Panagiotis Karaiskos who spoke about the battle he fought with drug addiction for 6 years, until his victory in the Athens Marathon.

For the obstacles and difficulties in personal and social areas that keep citizens at a distance from their dreams and goals but at the same time, develop ingenuity and flexibility, speakers expressed their concerns and approached the issue, through their own eyes.
