The fire that broke out on the island of Kythnos has been raging since noon on Monday

The fire that broke out at noon on Monday in Kythnos, on Skylou beach, is in full progress.

The flames have spread due to the winds and there is fear for the houses located in the area.

It is noted that in the late afternoon a 112 message was sent to evacuate those on Skylou beach.

In fact, earlier, 20 people were rescued from private boats.

A coast guard boat, private boats, three fishing boats, and a tugboat from the port of Lavrio are immediately ready to provide assistance if required.
