Local showers and thunderstorms are coming

Weather instability continues in the country on Friday according to the latest forecast data from the National Observatory of Athens / meteo.gr.

In more detail, the clouds present in the country on the morning of Friday (26/05) will gradually thicken and local rains and storms will occur, mainly in the continental, Ionian, Northern Aegean and from the afternoon in Crete.

In the afternoon and afternoon, the effects in the mountainous and semi-mountainous parts of the mainland will be strong in places.

Winds in the Aegean will blow from north directions 2 to 4 and locally up to 5 Beaufort. In the Ionian the winds will blow from north directions 2 to 4 Beaufort.

In Attica, sparse clouds are expected that will gradually thicken from the morning and there is a possibility of local rains, mainly in the northern parts of the prefecture. Winds will blow from north directions 2 to 4 Beaufort. Dust concentrations in the atmosphere will be relatively high. The temperature in the center of Athens will range from 20 to 28 degrees Celsius.

In the prefecture of Thessaloniki, sparse clouds are expected that will occasionally be thicker, while local rains and possibly storms will occur from the morning. Winds will blow from variable directions up to 3 Beaufort. Dust concentrations in the atmosphere will be relatively high. The temperature in the center of Thessaloniki will range from 19 to 26 degrees Celsius.
