-5 teams will receive a complete training and consulting package of 5 hours free of charge from a specialized Team of Technical Consultants.

The third award of leaders innovators was taken by Sumela Savvidou for her research on “The Thracian sheep” for the Institute of Animal Production and ELGO DIMITRAS.

To the innovators Maria Protopapa was distinguished for the Hellenic Center for Marine Research for research into the creation of a preventive device that will detect biofouling on surfaces submerged in seawater before it becomes visible to the naked eye and will therefore contribute to its early treatment. At the awarding of Deputy Governor of the Regional Community of Thessaloniki Mrs. Voula Patoulidou he said how those who have a vision go forward and that “the award brings us closer to our dreams”.

Ekaterini Demka from AUTH won an award for investigating the applications of nanotechnology in Aries sperm processing. The mayor of Thessaloniki, Konstantinos Zervas, while awarding the award, wished “there will be no obstacles and there will be success in women’s competitions” and added that “it is an important award to an institution that has made successful steps”.
