At what stage of your life do we succeed you artistically?
I’m in a very creative phase as I’m in the studio preparing songs for various artists with my collaborators. In the midst of all this, I wrote my first political song on behalf of the “Patriots”, with whom I am also running as a candidate in the European elections.
In 2007, you wrote the song “Only for you” for Noti Sfakianakis, with the album going platinum. How was your collaboration?
This collaboration was one of the best in my career, because I admired and loved Noti since I was a child! It was my dream to work with him.
Do you have contact with him, would you work together again?
There is communication with Notis! It always existed! I would definitely work with him again and I’m already writing songs for him whenever he decides to come back. He is having a hard time at this time due to the loss of loved ones, but he is in good health and I believe we will soon have him with us. I don’t think that an artist like Notis Sfakianakis doesn’t think about his artistic comeback.
What do the songs you write about Notis refer to?
The songs are popular! One is a little special, as it refers to social issues, like those that Notis is used to interpreting and having an impact. As a creator, all my songs are through experiences, so through this song the artist will express everything he has been through lately.
You are a candidate in the European elections with the “Patriotes” party of Prodromos Emfietzoglou. How did you make this decision?
I had years of proposals from various parties, but it was not something that suited me. “Patriots” is a party that advocates my ideals and tells the truth, which is why I decided to be a candidate in the European elections.
As we revealed through “Espresso”, Notis Sfakianakis with LAOS had also accepted a proposal to be a candidate in the European elections. How would you rate his candidacy?
I’m not the person to judge other people’s choices, obviously and it wouldn’t change anything in our relationship if he was a candidate.
