The news of the divorce of Nikolaos and Tatiana Blatnik made the world rounds in the last few days. Tatler, the famous blue-blooded magazine reported on the couple’s split, where hcharacterized Nikolaos as “Playboy Prince”.
According to the same publication,the couple shared an official statement confirming the news of their split. Nicholas is the third child of the last King of Greece, Constantine II of Greece, who was a close friend of King Charles and the late Duke of Edinburgh.
Nicholas and Tatiana announced the news on Friday in a statement posted on the former royal family’s official website:
“We want to inform you of an important and heartfelt decision made by TRH Prince Nikolaos and Princess Tatiana. After fourteen years of marriage, they chose to dissolve their marriage amicably. This decision was made with great care and mutual respect, reflecting the depth of their appreciation and the moments they share as they transition into a relationship built on a strong friendship. They will continue to live and build their lives in Greece, a place they both call home. The Family will always support them.”
