41-year-old American actress Sophia Bush identifies as queer and declares that “Finally, I feel like I can breathe.”

The actress broke her silence and opened up about her much talked about love life and her relationship with athlete Ashlyn Harris.

Sophia Bush (Sophia Bush) in her interview with Glamor magazine revealed, among other things, that she is queer by writing that “I feel like I can finally breathe.”

In the same article, the 41-year-old actress admits that she is in love with Harris, with whom their friendship began in 2019 and in October 2023 developed into a relationship, after her divorce from Grant Hugh.

“I didn’t expect to find love in this condition. I don’t know how else to say it: I didn’t realize it until I did.” Bush wrote.

In the same interview, the “One Tree Hill” actress mentions that she had also admitted in her previous relationships that she is attracted to women.

Apart from Hughes, she was also married to Chad Michael Murray from 2005 to 2006.

Regarding her relationship with the former soccer player, she said:

“It’s very easy not to see something that’s in front of you for a long time and it’s an option that you weren’t looking for as an option,” he said and continued:

“What I saw was a friend with a long and happy life. And now I know she was thinking the same thing about me,” concluded Bush about her relationship.

Ashlyn Harris has two children with her estranged wife Ali Krieger, whom she divorced last year in 2023.

Bush then said there had been a lot “blatant lies and violent threats” against her for having an affair with Harris.

To conclude that now he feels very comfortable in the queer community as she has experienced so much “safety, respect and love in the queer community, as an ally throughout my life.”

“I already felt like it was my home.”
