Kim Kardashian returned to the White House, five years after her last presence there during Trump’s presidency.
This time the TV personality met with US Vice President Kamala Harris with whom she discussed the issue of granting pardons to non-violent drug convicts.
For its part, the White House took advantage of the opportunity to show clemency for 16 convicts, 11 of whom served their sentences while five had their sentences reduced.
“It was in this room that we had the meeting five years ago that inspired me to look at how I can help and how I can pass on the amazing stories I’ve heard about people like you,” Kardashian told Harris.
Referring again to her meeting with Donald Trump, Kardashian, 46, said it was the springboard “to try to go to law school and continue my studies to see how I can help without relying on the two women behind me who come everywhere with me my two lawyers, to translate everything I hear”.
