After more than a year, hosted at the Actor’s House, actor Andreas Andreopoulos decided to take the reins of life in his own hands again and leave the Anna Fonsou Foundation. “Timos Drakos”, from the legendary television series of Nikos Foskolos, “Lampsi”, decided to rent his own house and change everything in his life.
According to the newspaper Espresso and the report of Nikos Nikoliza, Andreas Andreopoulos confirmed that he left the institution, however he did not want to focus on further details.
The actor now has his own apartment where he lives with his beloved dog, he has his brother by his side while he is already discussing TV and theater offers that have been made to him.
It was Christmas 2022, when “Espresso”, with the agreement of the president Anna Fonsou and all the guests of the foundation, made a multi-page tribute to the roof of the actors, in the center of Athens. Where artists with financial need “have found the comfort of the institution. “Espresso” had also met there the famous “son” of Iago Drakos, from the legendary series “The Shining”. Calm, full of sensitivities and with his much-loved dog by his side, Andreas Andreopoulos had not refused to open his heart and talk.
His role in the legendary series of Nikos Foskolos was decisive for the actor Andreas Andreopoulos. He joined the main cast of the series in 1992, at the beginning of the second cycle, after the departure of the actor Takis Anousis, who played the role of the young son of Iago Drakos in the first cycle of the series.
According to Espresso, Andreas Andreopoulos left “Lampsi” in 1996, at the end of the fifth cycle, after a disagreement with the director regarding the script development of the role. Although he played in numerous films and television series, “Lampsi” marked him and remained in the minds of all Greeks. However, in 2021 financial distress knocked on his door. Learning about his problem, Anna Fonsou opened her arms to him and hosted him at the Actor’s House, where he lived until last December.
