To see this side of show biz again.” She continued: “It took courage, but my son was there to support me. Also, it was a great honor to give the award for album of the year to Taylor Swift because I feel like she’s in the best phase of her life. But it’s always very moving when the crowd stands up and gives you a round of applause.”
The singer also referred to her clothing choice. “I thought: ‘Can you go on stage wearing a coat?’ Yes. You can do whatever you want and if wearing a coat makes you feel good, go for it. And it did make me feel better for a moment to hold that coat, to feel like I was hiding a little bit,” she said.
