The legal framework for the joint property of Nikolaos and Tatiana Blatnik
Nikolaos’ divorce with Tatiana Blatnik has caused comments and seems to concern the Panhellenic people, who find it hard to believe that they separated after 14 years of marriage.
The lawyer Sakis Kehagioglou was invited to Super Katerina to comment on the couple’s divorce.
“In regards to a couple’s assets within the marriage, the wife is entitled to 1/3, but it is a rebuttable presumption. That is, they can either get more or have the courts award less money. The law considers 1/3 from the conclusion of the marriage and after, if the wife contributed to the increase of income and in what way… When there are children, it is a different context… The prenuptial agreement is not valid in Greece” said the lawyer.
It is worth noting that Nikolaos Glyxburg was in Amorgos, in the context of a charitable purpose, on the day his divorce with Tatiana Blatnik was announced.
