Anumber of vehicles which have not passed technical inspection in Greece is not big but… huge. According to official data released by the President of the Private KTEO Kostas Vikas, more than 2.8 million (almost 32% of vehicles in circulation) have not been inspected, which means that a large percentage of them are a public risk.

Today we have a situation, 3 million vehicles out of process the last 15 years. And on the other hand we have an aging fleet of average age at 17 years. And we also have an efficiency in KTEOs which is not consistent with this reality

Then the Kostas Vikas he spoke about the foreign road safety inspection and the percentage of vehicles that do not pass safety inspection and compared them with Greece:We have a national average of severe deficiencies around 4.5% when the rest Europe ranges at 15%.
