Another incident, another brutal murder, this time of a 9-year-old girl, shocked everyone who read this news.

Let’s see in detail what the “Mirror” reports:

“The tiny, butterfly-covered coffin of a 9-year-old girl who was stabbed to death was carried by horse and carriage as hundreds of mourners lined the streets for her funeral.

Young Lilia Valutyte was stabbed while hula-hooping with her little sister outside a cafe where her mum worked on July 28 in Boston, Lincolnshire.

Today, the schoolgirl was taken to St Botolph’s Church, with her funeral procession through the town centre.

The service was followed by the burial, which was attended only by her family.

Many people from the local community, who were shocked by her death, paid their respects.

Her coffin was brightly decorated with dozens of three-dimensional butterflies, while pink feathers were placed on the horses’ heads.

A 78-year-old woman named Magdalene Lowe sent an emotional message to Lilia’s family: “I am very sad and wish I could have done more. We are all thinking of the little girl and her family. If they ever need help, we’re here for them.”

Her 32-year-old stepfather, Aurelijus Savickas, paid tribute to her last month, saying: “She was a girl with guts. Sometimes quiet and sometimes not. He was always trying to make a joke.”

Mum Lina added: ‘It’s hard to find what to say. He was just a normal kid. One day she was happy and the next she wasn’t. One day he wanted to eat pancakes and the next he didn’t – the usual stuff. She loved to dance, travel, try new things and annoy her sister. He wanted to go to Italy, so we’ll probably go next year anyway.”
