Scenes of chaos with passengers unable to breathe- This happened

--

AirAsia flight QZ533 was due to fly from Perth, Australia to Jakarta, Indonesia at around 3am on Thursday when the plane experienced a power outage.

The flight had not yet taken off and was still on the runway when the disruption occurred, but it was still causing panic among passengers.

People started crying and struggling to breathe, a passenger told Nine News, with 17 people removed from the flight.

In addition, there were complaints that the aircraft’s staff did not offer the necessary assistance to those who needed it.

A spokesman for Perth Airport confirmed that some passengers had indeed deplaned on their own initiative following technical problems: “We have been informed of technical problems with the aircraft, which is due to land at its destination soon. We do not know the details of these problems.”
