Russia: Deputy Defense Minister arrested on bribery charges

Court at Russia ordered the arrest of the Deputy Minister of Defense today Timur Ivanov and charged him with donationas announced by the court itself, after he was taken into custody yesterday.

The court remanded Ivanov in custody for two months and said that according to the charges he was able to profit from hiring contractors on behalf of the ministry when he supervised construction activities.
