Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) fighter jets attacked additional Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon’s Yaroun region at the time of the targeted attack on the Hezbollah commander.
The IDF has reportedly killed Hasin Ali Ezkol, an alleged terrorist and key figure in Hezbollah’s air defense unit, during a targeted attack on a vehicle he was riding in, the IDF confirmed on Tuesday.
According to the statement, another unnamed senior Hezbollah terrorist was also killed in the attack.
In addition, warplanes attacked a Hezbollah military building along with other terrorist infrastructure in the Yaroun region of southern Lebanon at the time of the targeted attack.
A separate threat in the Yaroun area was also struck by IDF troops.
Risk of changing conditions
At the same time, Iran again warned Tehran, saying that an attack would change the “conditions”.
An Israeli attack on Iranian soil would bring about a complete change in “conditions”, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said, according to the official IRNA news agency.
Raisi, who is visiting Pakistan, said such an attack could potentially lead to nothing left of the “Zionist regime”.
