The tunnel at the bottom of the Mediterranean is coming that will connect Europe with Africa – When will it be ready

Within the next year, work is expected to begin on the construction of the tunnel that will connect Europe with Africa.

A new underwater railway tunnel, in the strait of gibraltar, which will unite her Spain with the Moroccoand by extension the Europe with the Africa is in the planning phase, with the goal of being ready in 2030, when the World Cup will be held.

The route

According to the same Spanish media, the routes will be operated by especially fast trainswith the route including 4 major stations in two countries. The central one
station will be at Madridthen a second one will be in town Algeciras in the south, and after the train will cross the Strait of Gibraltar via an undersea tunnel, it will stop at a station in Tangier (Morocco), having as final destination the Casablanca.
