Strangers put oranges on the road – Why you shouldn’t run over them with your car

With a new trick it seems that the gangs have enriched their quiver to increase the chances of achieving their goal.

They continue car thefts globally, with dozens of drivers waking up one morning to find their car shining through its absence.

At risk, however, are not only cars parked and their owners at home, at work or anywhere else, but also those that are on the go and therefore their owner is behind the wheel.

This is because the gangs have in their “arsenal” the various ways in order to they entice the driver to get off even for a few seconds of IX of, in order to “hole” inside the cabin and remove anything valuable inside it, such as wallets, mobile phones, bags, etc.

One of the thieves’ methods in order to achieve their goal has, in fact, as the protagonist an orange, or any other citrus. This is placed on road by the gangs, who hope that a car will run over it.

Inside the orange the thieves have placed one nail in the shape of a cross. So, if the wheel of a car passes over the citrus, then the tire starts to deflate, which – sooner or later – will force the driver to stop his car.

And somewhere here the gang takes action. Once the vehicle is stopped and the driver exits the cab to examine the wheels of the vehicle, the gang members they seize the opportunity to burrow into the cabin and remove cellphones and wallets.

It is noted that according to foreign news media, this particular method is known very popular in South Americabut as history has shown, many times… foreign fashions at some point reach our country.

Therefore, in order not to get into trouble, it is good to be constantly suspicious.

It is reminded that spirals have other tricks in their quiver, such as empty water bottle on the wheel, the coin on the door handle and the fake banknote on the windshield.
