The Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen have released a video showing how the group captured a ship linked to Israel in the Red Sea yesterday.

The video shows a helicopter landing on the shuttle called the Galaxy Leader, with several gunmen disembarking and taking control of the ship. The video shows Houthi gunmen holding the international crew at gunpoint.

One of the Houthi men is also seen shouting the group’s slogan while walking through the ship: “God is greatest, Death to America, Death to Israel, Curse the Jews, Victory to Islam.”

The Bahamas-flagged ship is registered to a British company, which is partly owned by Israeli tycoon Abraham Ungar, who owns Rami. The vessel was leased to a Japanese company at the time of the hijacking.

The ship was sailing from Turkey to India with an international civilian crew, with no Israelis on board.
