New video of the October 7 attack by Hamas on Israel has been released.
A Telegram channel (the South First Responders) posted a video, which it claims is from Kibbutz Alumim in southern Israel. The video is also broadcast by the Times of Israel.
According to the two Media, the video shows the killing of two women by members of Hamas during the October 7 attack.
Warning, harsh images:
Clothes, shoes, jewelry “narrate” the massacre of Hamas at the Supernova festival
A bin of scratched and dusty sunglasses. Another one with jewelry. A range of shoes, some in pairs, some without. These are the items left behind by Hamas fighters after their brutal attack on the Supernova music festival in southern Israel on October 7.
Piles of clothing were laid out on tables at a trauma center in Caesarea for survivors to claim their lost items, as well as families of the victims.
The outdoor music festival was just a few kilometers from the Gaza Strip when Hamas militants launched a surprise attack on the Israeli communities. They killed 1,200 people, 260 of them at the festival. More than 240 were captured and taken back to Gaza.
“I was one of the last people in the festival area. We escaped the terrorists the moment they arrived. And I saw many things and many bags and many phones on the ground as I was running away. My phone was there, my bags, my car, all my stuff, my laptop and I know how important it is” says Sarel Batavia who managed to escape the hell on earth.
Alina Tovberg is another survivor. She told Reuters that the sight of the victims’ belongings reminded her of another historical atrocity.
“Holocaust,” he said, that’s how it felt. That’s what he said he felt when he looked at the piles of shoes, glasses and keys. He called it “just a disaster. A disaster of terrorism,” adding that “it was real. I was there”.
