The Israel-Hamas war, as everything shows, will be the beginning of significant changes not only for the post-war status of the Gaza Strip, but also for the future of both Hamas and pro-Iranian organizations and states in the Middle East, such as Hezbollah , the Houthis of Yemen and the pro-Iranians of Iraq, even for Syria.

From October 7 onwards, we had a rapid escalation of tension in the wider Middle East region, resulting in an increase in attacks against US bases in Syria and Iraq, by pro-Iranian forces, due to Washington’s support for Tel Aviv in the war against Hamas.

The result of this was the abandonment of some bases by the USA in Iraq and their concentration in the safe Kurdish enclave of the SDF in Northern Syria, while at the same time the American Ministry of Defense declared the intention of his country to strike in the context of legitimate self-defense.

Our assessment is that after the full support of Hamas from Turkey and the security provided by the SDF Kurds in Northern Syria to the US troops that came from Iraq, as well as the attacks by pro-Iranian organizations both against their bases and against the Israel, the USA will proceed with the creation of a Kurdish formation in Northern Syria, while at the same time they will attempt to “replace” Assad, who facilitates the presence of Iranian soldiers and pro-Iranian organizations on the territory of Syria, who act against Israel and themselves.
