IDF announces Hamas tunnels located and destroyed near amusement park and university
According to the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), the building, in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of Gaza City, is within walking distance of schools.
Footage they released showed troops finding several Hamas drones in the building, as well as equipment used to build them and instructions for making explosive devices.
“Troops also discovered several bombs at the site,” the Times of Israel points out.
Hamas tunnel over amusement park
Earlier, the IDF announced that it had located and destroyed Hamas tunnels near an amusement park and a university.
According to the statement, as part of the ground operations in the Gaza Strip, the Parachute Brigade led a targeted operation in northern Gaza, during which the soldiers completed control of the area.
During the operation, an underground tunnel was located near an amusement park, which was destroyed.
In addition, another underground tunnel and weapons depot containing chemical materials, RPGs and claymore mines was located near a university.
