A creepy video from summary execution of a former Wagner mercenary came to light, including the head of the private army, Yevgeny Prikozinto fully defend the punishment.
Yevgeny Nuzin, who was a member of Wagner, defected to Ukraine last September. A video of his execution was posted over the weekend on a Telegram channel associated with Wagner.
In it the 55-year-old tells how he had been recruited in August by the company “because the Homeland is in danger”. He had even recruited him Prigozhin himselfwho had come to the prison where he was being held.
The video was commented by the founder of Wagner and a close friend of Vladimir Putin, Yevgeny Prigozhin.
He said in a statement that Nuzin “betrayed the people and his comrades”. He added sarcastically that the video is brilliantly directed and should be called “Canine death for a dog». The Kremlin, however, notes the BBC, tried to distance itself from the hideous video saying that “it is none of our business”.
Nuzin’s intention was, however, to cross over to the other side to fight against the Russians. A month later he was arrested by the Ukrainians.
In an interview with Ukrainian journalists, he said that he was sent with others to the front line “like cannon fodder». If he did not comply with the orders, he faced summary execution. However, he was assigned to collect the bodies of the dead soldiers and thus managed to cross the Ukrainian lines.
In the video, Nuzin says that while walking in Kyiv on November 11, felt a blow to the head which left him unconscious. When he awoke he found he was in a basement.
Immediately after, an unknown man appears who attacks Nuzin with a sledgehammer. When he fell, his executioner finished him off with hammers.
However, it is not clear how and why Nuzin was freely returning to Kyiv since he was a prisoner of war in the hands of Ukraine.
