Fear of use intensifies nuclear from the Kremlin, with the West warning that there would be “catastrophic consequences” should Vladimir Putin push the “button”. According to its defense analyst and director military consulting company Rochan in Poland, Konrad Musica, the train is connected to the 12th Central Directorate of the Russian Defense Ministry, which manages dozens of nuclear weapons depots.

“The train is carrying equipment for the 12th Central Directorate of the Russian Defense Ministry. This unit is responsible for nuclear missiles, their storage, maintenance, transportation and distribution“, he said.

Although according to the expert the video does not constitute evidence of “preparation” for nuclear strikes, he explained that it comes to light after Ukraine’s warnings about “very high» risk of Russia using tactical nuclear weapons. “It may be a form of message to the West that Moscow is escalating it,” Musica said, referring to Vladimir Putin’s recent nuclear threats.

The analyst estimates that Russia may be moving this weaponry ahead of exercises of its Strategic Missile Forces (RSVN), Moscow’s main nuclear deterrent. “Russia’s RVSN forces usually conduct extensive exercises in the fall season” said Musica.

“Russia may be conducting Grom (lightning) nuclear deterrent exercises in October, so this train may be part of the preparationss”.

Meanwhile, NATO has warned its members that Russia will likely test it Neptune torpedo which can carry a nuclear warhead. The test will likely take place at sea near the Arctic Circle.

The Telegraph finally notes that Russia’s moves show that Russia’s president is “increasingly desperate after a series of humiliating defeats on the battlefield” in western Ukraine.

Terror from Kadyrov’s message to Putin: Drop nukes!

Ramzan Kadyrov, the leader of Chechnya and an ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, has said Moscow should consider using low-powered nuclear weapons in Ukraine after fresh defeats on the battlefield.
