“Nothing satisfied her”
When asked if she ever got in touch with her ex, DeGeneres, after their split, Ann Hess said: “You know what, every day of my life I reached out to her. I think it was very hard for her to trust.
I think it was very hard for her to trust me since I am a woman who fell in love with another woman without being gay. I thought we had a lot to build, so I tried to do that by quitting Hollywood, moving to Ohio, gardening, writing and directing with her, like she did in the movie with Sharon Stone. She didn’t want her partner to have friends
“What happened was that I distanced myself from a lot of things that I cared about, and in order to make her feel loved, I would erase things like acting and replace them with things that would give her prospects for something better. As we could not be together in public in a way that pleased her, I began to withdraw more and more from my friends. And one of the things that concerned me the most was when I started to feel disconnected.”
“I told her I needed my friends and she replied that she didn’t want a partner who needed that. That was the day I left” he said finally.
It is recalled that the actress was in a coma since last Friday, when she crashed her car into a house while running at 140 km per hour and “having used cocaine”.
The drug was found in Hess’ blood after the horrific accident, but authorities pointed out that Ellen DeGeneres’ ex had not consumed alcohol, despite the fact that there was a photo showing her with a bottle of vodka in the car.
