Eleonora Meleti: Gagaki “nailed” her – “I knew the show would end”

--

Mega announced the end of Eleonora Meleti’s show about three weeks ago with a modest announcement. The “narrative” of the channel and the presenter was that the show was closing on Holy Wednesday to give way to information in the run-up to the European elections. At the time, Eleonora Meleti had turned her back on journalists who argued that she had left her colleagues at the mercy of two and a half months before the end of the season and insisted that the decision is the station’s and that the employees of the show will keep their positions as originally agreed.

However, a few days later Eleonora Meleti was officially announced as a candidate on the European ballot of New Democracy, confirming the related rumor that had been floating around for a long time. That means the show wouldn’t be able to go on anyway.

The question of whether Eleonora knew that she would participate in the ballot or whether it was a last-minute decision was answered today by Katerina Gagaki on the camera of “Breakfast @ Star”.

“Because of the special relationship I had, I knew quite early on that the show would end earlier because of the European elections. Because I imagined the rest and I know the next, it makes me happy” he said on the sidelines of the statements he made about “TV Queen”.

Then, through Tina Messaropoulou’s column, we learned that Mega decided to end the show this Friday, April 26. The channel informed the journalists and technicians about the termination of their cooperation. All will receive their May salary as a bonus and from the end of the week they are free to look for work elsewhere.
