The third consecutive voluntary departure from this year’s Survivor came on Wednesday night (23.04.2024), with Savva Gentsoglou this time forced out of Santo Domingo.

For weeks, Savvas Gentsoglou had been injured and did not participate in the matches given by the two Survivor teams. The player revealed that his hand injury was not only not improving but had actually gotten worse.

The doctors judged that his hand injury would not go away and in the demanding events he could not compete. Thus, the former football player made the decision to leave Survivor.

Savvas Gentsoglou went to his team hut and said goodbye to his teammates, informing them of his decision to leave. “I put a lot of time into my arm and the injury. It didn’t happen and the situation has gotten worse. I have a severed ligament.’

In his personal cue, Savvas Gentsoglou mentioned what he learned from the Survivor experience as well as how wrong he was about Alexis Pappas and James Cafetzis before he met them.

“One lesson I learned in this game is that many times we judge people and situations without knowing them and without knowing what has happened. From Survivor ’21 I was under the impression that Pappas is the bad guy, James is the sly one. Knowing the kids, they have nothing to do with it, they’re amazing kids. I will never judge anyone again until I meet them,” said Savvas Gentsoglou.

As soon as the clip with the departure of Savva Gentsoglou played, twitter… caught fire and said goodbye to the player, excluding his presence in Survivor!
