Finally this series is coming and in fact the agreement was closed with the state channel with which the director has an excellent relationship while the relevant announcement was issued making things official.
So from the new season, the ERT1 program includes To Dichty, as will be called the new social-police series by Manousos Manousakis that we will see in the fall.
The plot and the cast
The network, written by Vangelis Giannis, consists of six independent detective stories, each lasting 80 minutes.
At the center is an elite group of General Security police officers, who undertake the resolution of important and special interest cases.
Surrounded by a cast of excellent actors, such as Anna-Maria Papacharalambous, Thodoris Atheridis, Orestis Tziovas, Fiona Georgiadis, Spyros Maragoudakis, Katerina Kranidis and Anastasia Galerou-Vlassi, the series follows the heroes of each story on the fringes of of “black” and “white”, sees them become ballasts of their passions, where victims and perpetrators are confronted with situations bigger than their size.
Police officers are emotionally involved in the cases they undertake, risk, judge and are judged, as they face problems that concern Greek society today.
As he recently said in an interview, “the subtitle of the series is “Crime is a mirror of our society” and our first script concerns intra-school and adolescent violence.
Big deal these days, you’re not saying anything. Perhaps it is the main, the dominant and the most important and the most threatening because these teenagers who express themselves in this way will tomorrow be doctors, lawyers, politicians.
It will be our society of tomorrow. We are interested in the victim, how does one become a victim, why is this child a victim and why is the other child a perpetrator?
What is his family situation and above all, what interests us, what is this education system that fails to charm the youth and considers it useless?’
