The 9 Romanian stand up paddleboarders (SUP) who were missing in Kefalonia have been located, however they were found unconscious.

Specifically, according to a relevant information from the Coast Guard, searches were carried out under the coordination of EKSED by 1 PLS, 2 private boats and 1 floating ship, in the sea area south of Kefalonia.

As noted on kefaloniapress.gr, the 9 Romanians took the standing boards from Pessada, despite the strong waves, to explore the coasts.

However, were found scattered over a large area on the beaches from Pessada to Koroni, as shown on the map.

It is noted that one of the 9 Romanian rowers, who were rounded up, was taken dead to the Kefalonia hospital by EKAV ambulance.
