The road of Ano Syros is open for use today, after the works preceded by the South Aegean Region.

On this matter, the President of the Community of Ano Syros, Petros Rauzios, states in a press release the following:

“A perfectly technically asphalted road was completed and delivered today from the turn of the 6th Primary School of Ermoupolis to almost the islet of Lalakia with Markou Vamvakari Street, where without exaggeration its result reaches perfection.

A project that from the 1st day of assuming my duties as President of the Community of Ano Syros, was my primary and basic request and goal, due to the high risk of causing an accident due to the poor condition where they were and the perennial request of both the residents of our settlement, as for the passing drivers and pedestrians, as well as the school communities that are on the particular road.

Now ALL of us will ENJOY a SAFE, perfectly QUALITY ROAD network, thanks to its FUNDING by the SOUTH AEGEAN REGION.
A MOST important GOAL for our COMMUNITY SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED

According to the planning of the P.N.A. will REBUILD the existing sidewalks on the specific project, as well as a similar ROAD CONSTRUCTION contract on the Provincial road of our COMMUNITY from the “Red House to Episcopio – approximately the intersection of Kini – Lotus”.

WE CONTINUE STRONGLY for the BEST for our COMMUNITY!!!!
As the PRESIDENT of the UPPER SYRO COMMUNITY, I want to warmly THANK the REGIONAL PRINCIPAL of N. Aegean and the DEPUTY-PRIECTOR of Cyclades and declare my complete SATISFACTION for the said WONDERFUL project, which is RIGHTLY ranked among the MOST IMPORTANT projects in the UPPER SYRO COMMUNITY, of the current self-governing term and not only”.
