Ann Brun (real name Ann Brunfall) was born and raised in Molde, Norway, to a musical family. Lives in Stockholm, Sweden since 2001.

She has won three Norwegian and two Swedish Grammy Awards, while her albums consistently top the music charts. In Scandinavia they even go platinum. She has toured the world many times gaining international recognition.

In 2015, Brun released her seventh studio album, entitled “When I’m Free”. It was followed in 2017 by “Leave Me Breathless”, an anthology of covers of songs as diverse as artists such as Foreigner, Mariah Carey and Radiohead. In 2020, he released two albums of original material in close succession, first “After the Great Storm” and then “How Beauty Holds the Hand of Sorrow”. Both were nominated for the IMPALA (Independent Music Publishers and Labels Association) European Independent Album of the Year award.
