Impressive Lefteris Petrounias won the gold medal in the hoops at the European Junior Men’s Championships held in Rimini, Italy.

The Greek athlete made his last attempt and collected a total of 15,000 points and climbed to the first step of the podium. Petrounias set a record with seven golds at the European Championships, surpassing Hungarian Christian Berky, while at the same time reaching nine medals at the event.
