The presenter of the event will be Nikos Aliagas, while Nana Mouschouri will have a central role in the ceremony.
The Olympic Anthem will be performed by the vocal group “CHÓRES” (Girls) accompanied by the National Symphony Orchestra of ERT.

Babis Velissarios
Also the tenor Babis Velissarios will perform at the Kallimarmaro Panathenaic Stadium “Olympionikos”, a poem by Pindar performed by Giorgos Heimonas, set to music by Dimitris Papadimitriouaccompanied by the ERT orchestra and choir.
The Olympic Light will be brought to the Panathinaikos Stadium by the champion of the walk Antigone Drisbiotis, while the last Torchbearer in Kallimarmaro will be the captain of the National polo team Giannis Fundoulisalong with his teammates, who won the silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics.
At the end of the event, the president of the Hellenic Olympic Committee, Spyros Kapralos, will hand over the Olympic Torch to the president of the “PARIS 2024” Organizing Committee, Toni Estange, to continue his journey to Paris.
Entry to the Panathinaikos Stadium will be free for the public while the event will be broadcast directly from ERT1.
