New revelations about the Lyggeridis murder

New evidence is coming to light about the murderous attack against Giorgos Lyggeridis outside the closed gym “Melina Merkouris” in the area of ​​Rentis, as the three protected witnesses gave information guiding the investigations in order for the police to reach 67 arrests.

According to SKAI, these are three people with the code names “67B”, “67E” and “67F” who describe both the situation that prevails inside and outside the stadiums, as well as what happened on the fateful night of the incidents in Rentis indoor gym.

He hit a sports fan with a child with a flare

As reported by the station, the witness “67B” initially reported about the leading executives of the organization that: “They are sitting in a place where spectators are not allowed to enter but only accredited persons, and they have a card. They move freely in all areas of the stadiums”, adding that “when some do not obey, he gathers a group of his own people and they trample and beat the people who do not obey”.

He referred to the man nicknamed “Kokos” and described an incident in which he “used a pen flare, which accidentally hit an Olympiakos fan who was accompanying two or three children. When this fan reacted he… went and hit him.”

“I have seen in two or three matches him… taking money from the owners of the canteens to allow them to be on the spot and not cause damage to them. Last year some of them did not give money and their canteen was broken,” he said.

For his part, the protected witness “67E”, referring to the leading executives and how they put people in the stadium, asserted that: “Because they know many people in the stadiums and mainly Olympiacos factors in PAE and KAE and the amateur, they have the ability to they let the “little ones” in for free.”

“I’ve seen at games some people take a bunch of fifty out of their pocket selling tickets. The accreditation cards carried by the “big ones” also help in this”, he revealed.

Regarding the attack on Rentis with the tragic result of the death of Giorgos Lyggeridis, he said that “it was heard that the plan was to attack the MATatzis at the specific stadium and not at SEF or Karaiskaki because these big stadiums have cameras, while the “Melina Mercouri, no.”

How the leading executives fled

The witness “67F” told the police that: “as soon as it was learned that we would be brought in, some vandalized the canteen, damaging and taking products, and some others set the toilets on fire.”

Describing the way they put people inside the stadium, he said: “I found people outside the gates of the organized ones, I gave them 15-30 euros, you wait outside for a while and then they allow you to enter”.

Speaking about three leading officials on the night of the incidents, he claimed that: “these three were not brought with all of us and as I heard it was discussed later, they fled with the delegation of the Olympiakos team”.
