According to ERT, the evidence emerging from the multi-page file is endless. It seems that apart from the war they had opened with the Police, the hooligans were also engaged in a peculiar civil war for the money they earned from their activity, from tickets to the protection they offered in shops and canteens.

The leading members of the criminal organization had made their fan identity a “profession”, as they made money through it. One of the leading members had even acquired a new car from these “daily wages”.

At the same time, they earned money from stolen goods, which they even sold to relatives of theft victims. The following case is typical: On 5/11/2015 in a warehouse in Nea Seleukia, Igoumenitsa, where there were motorcycles for safekeeping and repair, a theft took place in which a helmet, carburetor, and other items with a total value of 1,500 euros were taken.

Ten days later on 11/15/2015, the police arrested one of the leaders of the organization trying to sell them to a relative of a victim of the theft of two carburetors. That is, to sell to a relative of a person who had stolen the car parts of the theft victim.

Cameras

The responsible police initially collected dozens of videos from the cameras of at least 7 stores around the closed gym in Rentis.

Subsequently, two video materials were sent to the e-mail of the competent agency by an unknown person, five videos and three photos of five people involved in the incidents. A video material I found posted on the Instagram application by the user “Hooltras.gate7”.

According to the police, at 2:50 p.m. on February 18, 2024, an “unknown person” called the competent agency and reported that he had left at a point opposite Gate 5 of the stadium “G. Karaiskakis” a flash with video from the episodes in Rentis, in “Melina Merkouris”, which shows who from the stable went out and made episodes.

The organized ones

The specific storage medium contained 15 video files, which show the horseshoe on which the organized Olympiacos fans are sitting shortly before leaving the stadium and then their movement, where following orders from the leader of Gate 7, the so-called “Konto” , and the trapper’s 27-year-old manager, come out to attack the cops.

This footage shows the convoy of 10-15 motorcycles and four cars, with about 35 people gathering in front of the VIP gate of the “G. Karaiskakis”. They loaded the “munitions” and arrived after about an hour at Rentis’ closed gym.

In the same videos, part of the attacks against the policemen have been recorded, without recording the moment when Giorgos Lyggeridis is hit by the flare. From this material, 61 members of the criminal organization were identified who came out of the stadium to attack the police officers.

The “Santa Clauses”

At 18:00 on the evening of December 5, 2022, before the Olympiacos-Panathinaikos basketball match was held at the Peace and Friendship Stadium, two people dressed as Santa Clauses gave the order to attack the police forces in the underground passage and next to the SKAI TV station .

From the videos and the testimony of the protected witness “67E”, it emerged that the 27-year-old manager of the well-known trapper was dressed in a Santa Claus outfit and also wore a gas mask and a crossbody bag, which contained Molotov cocktails. A 24-year-old arrested was also dressed in a Santa Claus outfit, wearing a white beard.

Before the start of the match, approximately 50-100 fans of the Olympiakos team, having covered their facial features with full-face hoods, moved with Molotov cocktails and wooden poles towards the underground passage leading to the SKAI TV station and attacked the police forces. They also threw live fire flares and stones. The police pushed them towards the parking lot of the stadium, where the attacks continued. The episodes lasted about 30 minutes, while the specific attack, according to the police, had homicidal intent and was of the same scale as the attacks on Rentis.

Video material was found on Instagram showing the movements of the perpetrators.

STRUGGLE FOR SUPREMEITY

“Kontos” and the rivalry with the “Pagratiotes”

The large amount of money earned by the members of the criminal organization resulted in clashes between them and mainly with Olympiakos fans in Pagrati, where a 53-year-old man led. The clash on April 3, 2024, at the “G. Karaiskakis”, between the rival groups of fans. It involved the 36-year-old wanted person with the nickname “Romanos”, a leading member of the criminal organization of the leader of Gate 7, the so-called “Konto”.

When the phone was declassified, it emerged that the reason for the fight was the attempt to overthrow the leader of the criminal organization, “Konto”, in order to take his “doors”, as he typically said, meaning the doors where invitations and tickets were sold in double price.

At least ten people from the “Pagratiotes” team participated in the fight, including the 53-year-old would-be “subversive” and the so-called “Babis”, who were now against “Kontos”, trying to replace him and take over themselves the reins.

The “overthrow” attempt failed, as the existing “leadership” managed to prevail, chase down its competitors and retain its sceptres.

Another would-be “leader” was a 31-year-old man from Byron, who in the summer of 2023, together with 20 other people, attempted to impose himself and overthrow the leadership of the organization by force, but he also failed because he was beaten…
