The movements of the hooligans before and after the Lyggeridis murder

--

A new video document has been made public from the fateful night of the incidents, outside the closed gym of Rentis “Melina Merkouris”, where was the place of the fatal injury of the police officer Giorgos Lyggeridis.

These are two videos, brought to light by flash.gr, and according to information, they are included in the Hellenic Police report on the death of the MAT police officer.

In the first video, according to information from police sources, fans can be seen (at the bottom right at the end of the video) moving at the bottom of the stand, with the intention of leaving the stadium, while the Olympiacos – Panathinaikos volleyball game was in progress (in the first set).

According to the information from police sources, this movement of the fans was done in order to cause an incident with the forces of ELAS who were outside the closed gymnasium of Rentis.

In the second video presented by flash.gr, fans can be seen running, shortly after the incidents, and returning to the stadium to find “shelter”.

It is recalled that yesterday flash.gr presented another video from the Hellenic Police transmission about the bloody incident of fan violence. They were images of convoys of motorbikes and cars with hooligans, carrying “munitions” from the Karaiskakis stadium to the closed one of Rentis shortly before the fatal blow to the unfortunate MAT police officer.

In particular, a short time before the attack on the closed stadium of Rentis, in a MAT squad, about 35 to 40 people, who were riding about 10 to 15 motorcycles and four cars gathered in front of the official (VIP) door of the stadium ” C. Karaiskakis”.

After placing the “warfare” inside the cars, they formed a convoy “protecting” – accompanying the motorcycles the cars, and moved in an organized and coordinated manner towards the indoor gym “Melina Merkouri”.

The cameras were not recording in Karaiskakis

The police officers of the Sub-Directorate for Combating Sports Violence contacted the Kaminion-Neu Faliro Police Department by phone, who informed them that the cameras of the “G. Karaiskakis” do not record when there is no football match of the Olympiakos team and the video footage from the stadium’s security cameras is deleted after two days.

Therefore, and because two days had passed since the day the initial meeting point of the perpetrators became known from the conducted preliminary investigation, no video footage was seized from the Faleri stadium.
