A video-document came to light from the hooligans who, last December, transported munitions from Neo Faliro to Rentis, where they killed the police officer Giorgos Lyggeridis with a direct flare.
Yes, the hooligans received the munitions – firecrackers, flares, etc. – outside the VIP door of the “G. Karaiskakis” and they took it outside the stadium to Rentis where it was set up in the battle scene.
“A short time before the attack on the closed stadium of Rentis, a MAT platoon of about 35-40 people, who were riding about 10-15 motorcycles and 4 cars gathered in front of the VIP gate of the stadium “G. Karaiskakis”, is characteristically mentioned in the ELAS communication.

The transport of the munitions is described by the police who conducted the investigation as follows: about 35-40 people, who were riding about 10-15 motorcycles and 4 cars, of which 3 were white and 1 red, gathered in front of the door of the official (VIP) of the stadium “G. KARAISKAKIS”.
After placing the “warfare” inside the cars, they formed a convoy “protecting” – accompanying, the motorcycles the cars and moved in an organized and coordinated manner towards the venue of the race. Initially, they moved along Karaoli and Dimitriou Streets, turned right onto Piraeus Street until the point of the National Road and then turned left into Kifisos Street, until they took the exit on the right for Agios Ioannis Rentis, arriving at the “Melina Merkouri” stadium around 7:45 p.m.

“On Sunday, February 18, 2024, Security officers received an anonymous call from someone who reported that he had left at a point, opposite gate 5 of the stadium “G. Karaiskakis”, a flashback with a video, from the episodes in Rentis in “Melina Merkouris”, in which you can see who from the stable went out and made episodes.
A police officer who went to the scene found the stick, which was sent to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, in order to extract any video material and then for laboratory tests, in order to identify the owner of the device.
The Digital Evidence Examination Department identified fifteen (15) video files, which show the horseshoe in which the organized fans of Olympiakos are sitting, shortly before they exit the stadium and then their movement, where following the orders of two (2) people, they exit in order to attack the Police. The video footage was analyzed in three (3) Video Footage Analysis Reports in combination with other preliminary investigation evidence, where it emerged that:

The police officers of the Sub-Directorate for Combating Sports Violence contacted A.T. Kaminion-Neu Faliro, who informed them that the cameras of the “G. Karaiskakis” do not record when there is no football match of the Olympiakos team and the video material from the stadium’s security cameras is deleted after two days. Therefore, and because two days had passed, from the day it became known from the preliminary investigation, the initial meeting point of the perpetrators, no video material was seized from the above stadium”.
