During Holy Week, from Holy Monday to Holy Thursday, the opening hours are continuous from 9 am to 9 pm, on Good Friday from 1 pm to 7 pm and on Holy Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm at noon.
On Easter Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, the shops will be closed. On Tuesday they will be closed due to the postponement of the May Day celebration.
The president of the Athens Association of Commerce, Stavros Kafounis, said that the festive season may mark the beginning of an increase in shopping traffic, after three difficult months in 2024.
“An increase that we expect and hope will be achieved not only in the areas that record a lot of tourist traffic, but also in the district markets which must be supported by the local community”, he emphasized.
