Princess Beatrice is in a bad psychological state, as her ex-partner, the well-known “playboy”, Paolo Liuzzo, was found dead in a hotel room in Miami.
In particular, the American authorities found Liuzo dead on allegations that “he was heavily in debt to moneylenders due to gambling”. According to a source from the Miami police, who spoke to the British press, it is assumed that the death of the 41-year-old is due to drug overdose.
Princess Beatrice, daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, started dating Paolo Liuzzo in 2005 when she was 17 and he was 24, but they called it quits in 2006.
“Paolo was not doing well on a personal level. He loved parties and gambling. He had started using many pharmaceutical drugs at first, but this later led to cocaine and harder drugs. He was always borrowing money to pay off old loans. It was a vicious circle,” said a friend of Liuzzo’s after his tragic death.

Paolo Liuzzo worked as an art consultant and had never married. He lived in an apartment near the hotel where he was found dead.
As for Princess Beatrice, she married real estate businessman Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in July 2020.
The two had a 3-year-old daughter, Sienna Elizabeth.
