What are the causes of violence inside and outside sports venues; Who is role of the mass media in portraying the phenomenon of violence in sports; There are educational tools for recognizing and dealing with violent and bullying behavior in Sports;

These critical questions will be examined by the information conference organized by KMOP – Center for Social Action and Innovationwith Title “We block bullying”the Thursday, April 25 and time: 17:30-20:30, at the Serafion of the Municipality of Athens (144 Eheliden and Piraeus, Athens).

17 prominent personalities from the field of sports, mass media and representatives of institutional bodies they will discuss the prevention and treatment of the phenomenon of violence and bullying inside and outside the sports fields.

At the event, the new KMOP training for executives of sports organizations and teachers on the topic of “Recognizing and dealing with violent and intimidating behavior in Sports” will be presented for the first time. It is an innovative educational tool for our country, which thoroughly examines the multifactorial phenomenon of violence in sports venues and focuses mainly on measures that can be taken by sports clubs to prevent it.

The discussion will be moderated by the journalist, Stefanos Avramidis.

The event is addressed to coaches of all sports categories and levels, to all workers in sports venues, to teachers, to parents, to journalists as well as to anyone who wants a sports environment without discrimination and incidents violence.
