With 275 direct and indirect exhibitors, 22 countries, 440 Greek and foreign speakers, B2B Matchmaking Event with over 200 participants and more than 500 business meetings, 5 conference venues with dozens of events, with a Conference on Artificial Intelligence, with the 11th Technology Forum , and many hundreds of B2B and B2G meetings, but also with Sophia the Robot, the world’s most famous AI robot, BEYOND launches today.
The International Exhibition of Digital Transformation, Technology and Innovation, which runs until April 27, exceeds expectations, having gathered over 170 exhibitors last year.
From April 25 to 27 at the International Exhibition Center of Thessaloniki, BEYOND will be the ideal platform for international business leaders, pioneering thinkers and for all those active in consumer technologies. It will also give the stage to companies from all over the world to present their innovative products and services, but also to conclude important agreements with visitors from Greece and abroad.
The Ministry of Digital Governance, AADE, EBEA, the Regions of Central Macedonia, Crete, Central Greece and Epirus participate in the exhibition this year, while the interest of Universities and Research Centers is huge, with participations such as those of EKETA, AUTH, Democritus University of Thrace, the International University of Greece, the Ionian University, the University of Peloponnese, the Technology and Research Foundation, the University of Western Macedonia, the EKPA, the University of Ioannina and the City College. In fact, BEYOND gives free passes to students.
On April 25 and 26, the Matchmaking Event of SBE and the Enterprise Europe Network will take place with over 200 participants from Greece and 8 foreign countries, where the prearranged business appointments exceed 500. Also, on April 27, DYPA organizes a Career Day with 41 purely technological companies.
The program of parallel events and conferences of BEYOND is very wide in the 4 stages and in the Workshops area of the organization. The AI Forum (Main Event), the Technology Forum, the Leadership Dialogue, the Conference of Regions of Greece, the Conference of General Secretaries of the Municipalities of “Kleistheni”, AI Health, AI in Agriculture, AI in Creativity, Workshops by large companies for the Digital Work Card, events for Smart Cities, the Professions of the Future, Women’s Entrepreneurship etc. make up the “menu” of BEYOND.
On Friday 26 April and Saturday 27 BEYOND will also welcome Sophia the Robot, who will be introduced to the public by TIF-HELEXPO and the Region of Central Macedonia. In fact, Sophia will participate in a discussion on April 26 at 11:30 am, in the presence of the Regional Governor of Central Macedonia, Mr. Apostolos Tzitzikostas and the Researcher & Director of Computing Systems of the MIT Media Lab – Commander of the National Cybersecurity Authority, Dr. Michalis Bletsa, while he will also take part in the Artificial Intelligence conference as part of BEYOND.
BEYOND is organized by TIF-HELEXPO, Be-Best and Industry Disruptors Game Changers (IDGC), with co-organizers the Ministry of Digital Governance, the Region of Central Macedonia, the Central Union of Municipalities of Greece (KEDE) and the Municipality of Thessaloniki. It is held under the auspices of the Ministry of the Interior (Macedonia-Thrace Sector), the Ministry of Tourism and the Panhellenic Union of General Secretaries of Local Government “Kleisthenis”. BEYOND will be inaugurated by the Minister of Digital Governance, Mr. Dimitris Papastergiou.
