Where traffic is prohibited in the center

On the occasion of her ceremony torch relay that will carry the Olympic Flame, are expected to be implemented traffic regulations and to close some roads of Athens today (25/4).

As ELAS has informed, in the context of the events for the handing over of the Flame, which will travel to Paris Olympics, will be held complete stoppage of traffic vehicles, as well as the parking of them in specific areas and streets.

The bans will be in effect from 00:01 on Thursday until 22:00 on Friday. During this time, you will Archimedes Street remains closedin its section from Plastira Square to Dikarchou Street.

The remaining prohibitions are as follows:

During the hours 00:01 to 22:00 of Friday 26-4-2024:

• Euphoric, throughout its length
• Karaiskaki Square (Discovolos)

During the hours 17:00 on Friday until the end of the event:

• Vas. Kon/nou Avenue, in its section from Vas. Sofias Avenue to Ardittou Street and in both traffic streams
• Ardittos, along its entire length in both traffic streams, as well as its perpendiculars, up to the first parallel road
• Herodos Atticus, along its entire length
