A rich and strange past among the independent MP’s family Konstantinos Floros and of Kyriakos Velopoulos, is behind the brutal episode that took place in the parliament with the victim of the member of Hellenic Solution, Basil Grammeno.

The reason for the unprecedented episode was what was said before the start of the debate on the lifting of the immunity of Kyriakos Velopoulos, following a lawsuit filed by Mr. Floros’ father for defamation filed on March 14, 2023.

As Efstathios Floros, officer e.a., told Alpha. of the Navy and from the first executives of the Hellenic Solution, the lawsuit concerns a “vulgar war” that he and his family received from Mr. Velopoulos himself and specifically internet trolls who acted on his orders, through accounts on the internet proceeding with publications aimed at the “character assassination” of opponents of the president of the Hellenic Solution.

It is noted that Mr. Velopoulos has denied any connection with these accounts and has himself requested the lifting of his immunity.

Efstathios Velopoulos, however, invokes specific accounts that, as he says, belong to Kyriakos Velopoulos and proofs connected to the president of the Hellenic Solution himself.

Regarding the Parliament episode, Mr. Floros spoke of a “fixed episode”, he avoided characterizing his son’s behavior in the Parliament and the attack against the Hellenic Solution MP, however he noted that he condemns any form of violence.
