The “Easter Basket” came into effect from today, April 24, 2024 until Holy Saturday, May 4, 2024.

It should be noted that until May 4, 2024, the “Basket of the Godfathers” will also be in effect. It is reminded that the “Lent Basket” is also valid until May 4.

This was announced by the Ministry of Development, while it is noted that the “Easter Basket” is an extension of the “Household Basket”, as four new food categories are added, in order to be an additional outlet for consumers.

The “Easter Basket” includes the following products:

  • Lamb
  • Kid
  • Greek sweet bread
  • Easter chocolate eggs and related products

“Basket of the Godfathers”

12 categories of products have been included in the “Godparents’ Basket” and consumers who are godparents or parents of small children are given the opportunity to make cheaper purchases during the Easter period.

  • Doll toys, dollhouses and other accessories (imitation toys)
