Supreme Court: Today, Wednesday, the announcement of the candidates for the June European elections

The announcement of the parties and combinations of parties, as well as the MEP candidates who will have the right to participate in the European elections of June 9, 2024, will take place today, Wednesday after 4:00 p.m., by the A1 Political Department of the Supreme Court.

It is recalled that in the previous days ND, PASOK and New Left had submitted memorandums to the Areio Pagos against the participation of the Spartans, supporting the relations of the Spartans party with the prisoner of the Golden Dawn Ilias Kassidiaris. ND states – among other things – in its memorandum: “As it appears from the evidence, the de facto leader of the political party Spartans is Ilias Kassidiaris. The exercise of real leadership is characterized by specific acts listed in this memorandum and prove the uniformly expressed will of Ilias Kassidiaris to exercise control over the party in question, to place a virtual leadership and also to have the leadership role towards the electorate in party Spartans”.
