Accident during the rehearsal of an action scene of the movie “The Pickup” starring Eddie Murphy
A surprise accident they had enough crew members of the new film starring O Eddie Murphy.
According to Deadline, the accident happened on the set of the shooting of the Amazon MGM Studios film “The Pickup,” in Atlanta. At that time the crew members were rehearsing an action sequence, but things did not go well at all.
“On April 20, an accident occurred on the set of “The Pickup” during the rehearsal of an action sequence. Unfortunately, the scene did not go as planned and several crew members were injuredsaid a representative of the studio.
So far, it is not clear what exactly caused the accident. “We are still in the process of gathering information about what happened and why, but first and foremost our thoughts are with those recovering“, added the representative.
Sources close to the production tell Deadline that the film’s director and producer, Tim Story, was not on the set when the accident occurred.
However, the Associated Press, which first broke the news, said a truck “stuck” and suddenly collided with a car, sending two people to hospital.
The upcoming movie “The Pickup” stars: Eddie Murphy, Pete Davidson, Keke Palmer, Andrew Dice Clay, Eva Longoria, Ishmael Cruz Cordova, Jack Kesey and Marson Lynch.
So far, the plot of the film, whose script is signed by Matt Minder and Kevin Burrows, remains unknown.
