The “bonus” of 300 euros is paid today to an additional 3,196 long-term unemployed

Today, Wednesday, April 24, 2024, the Public Employment Service (DYPA) is paying a one-off payment of 300 euros to an additional 3,196 non-subsidized long-term unemployed who have drawn up a Digital Individual Action Plan.

Bonus payment to long-term unemployed

Payments appear on accounts within 1-2 business days after payment. In total, until now, the benefit has been paid to 100,186 beneficiaries.

The “bonus” aims to activate the long-term unemployed, through the creation of an updated Individual Digital Action Plan, based on which they will be directed to actions to enhance employability and find work.

Beneficiaries of the new benefit are the long-term unemployed who have completed continuous registered unemployment of more than five years and then draw up a Digital Individual Action Plan and have an income of up to 16,000 euros for singles, 24,000 euros for married people, plus 5,000 euros per child or 29,000 euros for single parents families, increased by 5,000 euros for each child, after the first and, at the same time, the total gross income from business activity of the family does not exceed 80,000 euros.

As stated in the relevant announcement, the procedure for the payment of the benefit is as follows:

• Potential beneficiaries enter with TaxisNet codes at: https://www.gov.gr/ipiresies/ergasia-kai-asphalise/anergia/ephapax-khrematike-parokhe-gia-anergous.
• They register or update their bank account details (IBAN) for the payment of the benefit, as well as their marital status.
• DYPA checks the fulfillment of the requirements ex officio (unemployment period and Digital Individual Action Plan), as well as, through cross-checking, with the data of competent bodies (AADE and HDIKA).
• The payment is made automatically to the accounts of the beneficiaries.

It is pointed out that only those who are long-term unemployed for more than five years and draw up a Digital Individual Action Plan can enter the platform and register an IVAN.

Those unemployed who have already drawn up an Individual Action Plan should convert it into a Digital Individual Action Plan.

In particular, they enter the e-services of DYPA with TaxisNet codes and confirm or update the details of the Individual Action Plan, so that it turns into a Digital Individual Action Plan.

Those unemployed who have not already drawn up an Individual Action Plan should make an appointment with a job counselor at the Employment Promotion Center (KPA2) in their area either via video conference (MyDYPAlive) or in person.
